After the election: the fight against austerity and climate change

Location

Steelworkers Hall

For nearly a decade Harper has imposed austerity and climate change, with support from the Liberals. Now Harper is whipping up Islamophobia to prolong his reign, while the LIberals are pretening to be a progressive alternative.

There's still time to vote against the twin parties of Canadian capitalism and change the configuration of Parliament, but after October 19 the main venue for change will be in movements outside Parliament--like the November 5 "climate welcome" for the Prime Minister, whoever it will be.

Join a post-election forum to assess the results, discuss the lessons of the election, and the next steps in the fight against austerity and climate change.
