Greece: elections and the fight against austerity

Since 2010, Greece workers have undertaken 32 general strikes -- most recently on November 27, 2014.
This return of the general strike, after seven months, was a decisive turning point ushering in the December collapse of the New Democracy coalition government.
New elections have been called for January 25 and Syriza -- the Coalition of the Radical Left -- is leading in the polls.
