Migrant Workers and Capitalism

Capitalism has always relied on migrant workers. Through foreign policy and trade deals Canada works to keep wages low in the global south, and then compels workers from these same countries to provide low wage work here as well.

Join us for a discussion group on migrant workers and capitalism. Erfan Rezaie will introduce a discussion on the history of Migration, migrant workers and capitalism and on the current state of migrant workers during the pandemic. Erfan is an organizer with Dignidad Migrante Society.
