October 1917: a conference in honour of the Russian Revolution

Location

SFU Harbour Centre
515 W. Hastings
Vancouver , BC
Canada
British Columbia CA

The workers' and peasants' revolution of 1917 created the most democratic state the world had ever seen with leaps forward in women's rights, freedom of religion, sexual liberation and more. That freedom was short lived as the revolution was hammered by invasions and civil war, and ultimately crushed by Stalinism. Join us for a conference in honour of the 1917 Russian revolution.
