The 2016 World Social Forum will take place from August 9-14 in Montreal. It is the first time the forum has been held in North America. As many as 80,000 people are expected to attend from around the world.

From its roots in the anti-globalization movement, the social forums have provided a space for activists from all over the world to meet, debate and discuss strategies. The events have been crucial in building global movements against war, poverty and environmental destruction.

Join us for a forum to look at the history of the WSF and to discuss how we can use the space to build movements for radical change.

Organized by the International Socialists. www.socialist.ca  reports@socialist.ca
